So as I promised here is the first outfit for me of 2008. I really like how easy and chic these dress looks.
It is dark green with purple and red swirl type on it. I added a twisted strand of black glass beads to keep things simple. I love that this dress is kinda of a late 50's cowl neck wiggle dress. I wore this dress again but with black tights and a pair of wedge suede ankle boots.

Seriously though, awesome goal, I have something similar in mind, I'm sick of buying clothes to fit a need, or just because they fit. I have an inner pencil skirt and wedge heel red lipstick rockin' bad mamma jamma working her way out, and I think she is inspired.
Great work on project #1, did you use a commercial pattern? If so, would you be so kind as to share?
